I am stuck where the rich come to rest and the old simply come to pass. I scale these hills to overlook what I hate. I'm so tired of trying to relate. For my sanity, I leave this behind. Only a close few keep me from losing my mind. Just a bird trapped in an open cage. Afraid to experience the unknown. Relying on the comfort of this place called home. Walking same streets night after night. Look into the sky knowing this cant be life. No amount of valley sunshine will illuminate this smile of mine. In this town of wealth and greed, I find nothing that I need.
